After three and a half years since the original announcement of Diablo IV, players around the world will finally get to play the fourth instalment of the legendary RPG. However, some fans are not exactly sure how to launch the Diablo IV Beta. Here’s how to start the Diablo IV Open Beta on PC (Battle.net), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

How to Start Diablo 4 Beta on PC (Battle.net)

Before we continue, the very first thing you need to do is to make sure that the beta has officially started. The early access open beta kicks off on Friday, March 17th, at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 4 pm GMT / 5 pm CET. It goes without saying, but you will not be able to start the game before that time. In addition, you will need to pre-order the game in order to have early access. If you have early access, and the time is right, and you still can’t start the Diablo 4 Beta, here’s what to do.

On PC, make sure to restart your Battle.net client for it to register that the beta has started. If needed, log out first, and turn off the Battle.net client. Turn it back on and then log back in with your account. You will now be able to see the Diablo IV Beta. Furthermore, make sure to select Diablo IV Beta. Open the drop-down menu below the “Game Version” (lower right corner) on the Diablo 4 Battle.net page, and select the beta. You will now be able to start Diablo 4 Beta and play.

How to Start Diablo IV Beta on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One

To start Diablo 4 beta on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One, you will need to power-cycle your console. This is needed in order for the beta to appear. Here’s how to do it:

• Turn off your console.
• Unplug the console from the power socket.
• Leave it like that for around two to five minutes.
• Plug the console back in and turn it on.
• Search for Diablo IV Beta under your purchased games.
• Start the Diablo 4 Beta on your PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, or Xbox One.
