WWE 2K23 Crossplay and Cross-Platform

At time of writing, it seems that WWE 2K23 is not going to have crossplay nor any cross-platform features. That is going to be a disappointment to many of you, I know, but at this point, it’s standard practice for 2K sports games. Maybe the developers will add these features at some point in the future, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. I mean, sure, PGA Tour 2K23 got crossplay after launch, but NBA 2K23 hasn’t, so take that as you will. That said, WWE 2K23 will have cross-gen progression, but only if you purchase the more expensive Cross-Gen edition. That will cost you seventy bucks instead of sixty, which is how much the Standard Edition on PC and last-gen consoles cost.

So, that’s all we know about crossplay and cross-platform in WWE 2K23 right now. We’ll be sure to keep you posted if anything changes, of course. One more thing that we do have to warn you about is that, even if you have the Cross-Gen edition, DLC content will not carry over once you upgrade platforms. That’s according to the official FAQ. If you’ll allow me to editorialize for a second, that’s just awful behavior towards the consumer. Buyer beware is all I have to say. WWE 2K23 is coming out on March 14th for those that buy the Deluxe and Icon editions and March 17th for everyone else. You can play it on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
