How to Make Sled Sons of the Forest

In The Forest – the prequel to Sons of the Forest – you could craft the Log Sled. You could then use this Log Sled to transport objects such as rocks, logs, sticks, and so on. It was an immensely helpful tool that allowed you to transport heavy objects much faster. In Sons of the Forest, we have a similar tool called – the Sled. In this guide, we’ll show you how to make the Sled in Sons of the Forest, and also tell you whether or not it is possible to craft the Log Sled as well.

How to Get Sled in Sons of the Forest

To be able to get the Sled in Sons of the Forest, you will first need to find the 3D Printer. There are several of these in the game. We managed to find one at the Maintenance A site. We have marked this location in the screenshot below. Note that, once you get there, you will also need the shovel to dig up the entrance. Inside, you will find the printer in the room to the right of the end of the hallway. Go inside and you will find the 3D Printer on the desk there. Incidentally, this is also where you will find the Maintenance Keycard, which you need to get the Katana.

Hover over the computer next to the 3D Printer and press R to scroll through the things it can make until you get to the sled. You are going to need 1000 Printer Resin to be able to 3D Print the Sled. Luckily, locations where you can find the 3D Printer usually have a lot of Printer Resin lying around. Once you have enough Printer Resin and have the Sled selected, press E to print it. Wait until the printing has been completed and then pick it up. We have to note that Sleds work a lot differently than Log Sleds. Instead of lugging things around on it, this plastic sled is instead used to slide down surfaces such as mountains.

Can You Make Log Sled in Sons of the Forest

Currently, the Log Sled isn’t in Sons of the Forest and you can’t make it yet. This doesn’t mean that it won’t be added to the game in some future update, but as of now – it’s not possible to craft and get one.
