When Does Sons of the Forest Come Out – Release Date & Time

The release date for Sons of the Forest is Thursday, February 23rd, 2023, and we finally know the exact launch time. The early access will start at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST / 6 PM GMT / 7 PM CET. That is when games unlock globally for players on Steam. Keep in mind that this is not the launch of the full game; rather, Sons of the Forest will begin as an Early Access product and will remain so from six to eight months. It will only be available on Steam, which is why we aren’t mentioning any consoles here. That might change in the future, but probably not any time soon.

So, that’s all we know about the release date and time of Sons of the Forest at time of writing. As for what this game even is, it’s the sequel to the survival horror smash hit The Forest. I say sequel, but it could be a prequel or something, we just don’t know at the moment. The idea is that you are stranded on what seems to be a deserted island and have to craft everything from scratch. However, as you progress, you discover that the island is not deserted. In fact, it is full of bloodthirsty maniacs and eldritch monsters. So, not only do you have to gather resources to make shelter and gather food and water, you also need to protect yourself while you explore and discover the secrets of the island.
