Hogwarts Legacy Family Sharing Not Working on Steam Explained

Family Sharing is one of those fantastic options that set Steam apart from most other video game storefronts. It allows you to share your Steam games with other Steam profiles – such as family and friends. It’s a great way to share games with those closest to you. Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition for the PC has been out for a while now, and, even though the game has been advertised to include the Family Sharing feature, it seems like this option isn’t working. Why is that the case? Is it due to some sort of bug or error? Or something else? And is there anything you can do to fix this so that you can use Family Sharing on the PC? Hogwarts Legacy Steam Family Sharing Not Working Explained

So, why is this the case, even though the Family Sharing option should be working? Well, it’s down to the fact that this feature isn’t available as of the time of writing. Again, this is nothing new for Early Access titles, as Hogwarts Legacy is going to be fully out on February 10th. Luckily for us, it looks like Family Sharing is going to become available before then. Specifically, on Thursday, February 9th, 2023. This has been officially confirmed by WB Games Support over on Twitter. The solution is to simply wait until tomorrow, February 9th, and you should be able to play with Family Sharing turned on.
