Hogwarts Legacy Venomous Tentacula, Dogweed & Deathcap Location
As part of Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1, you are going to need to get some Venomous Tentacula and Mandrake and test these plants out in combat. While you can certainly find them out in the wild, the most reliable way of acquiring them is to simply buy their seeds from the Dogweed & Deathcap shop, and then grow them yourselves. To help you find this shop, we are going to show you the exact location of Dogweed & Deathcap, so that you can get Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy.
Dogweed & Deathcap Location in Hogwarts Legacy
The Dogweed & Deathcap is a plant shop dedicated to selling all manner of magical seeds and plants. As such, it’s always a great location to go to when you are in need of some magical plant ingredients and seeds. It is located in Hogsmeade, but not in the central village itself like most shops are, but a short distance away to the north. We have marked the location where it is on the screenshot below. Head there and talk to the owner of the establishment, Beatrice Green. You can buy some Venomous Tentacula (as well as Mandrake) seeds from her, as well as fully grown Venomous Tentacula and Mandrake plants that are ready for use.
As for the Venomous Tentacula seed, it costs 1,050 Galleons. When you have bought it, you will then need to plant it in a Large Planter. It takes 15 minutes for it to grow so that you can then harvest it. After that, all that’s left to do is to take it with you and then use it in the middle of combat. Unlike the Mandrake which acts as an AoE stun device, the Venomous Tentacula will directly damage foes. Note that you don’t need to actually damage anyone with this plant – simply using it in combat is enough to finish the Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1.
