Pokemon GO Vivillon Map of All Forms & Regions
In our Pokemon GO Vivillon Map of All Forms & Regions guide, we are going to give you some important information on the new postcard mechanic, which allows you to unlock the different Vivillon patterns. The system is kinda complicated, and it really deserves more explaining. That’s what this guide is for. Plus, we’ll give you a map of which parts of the world the different patters appear in.
How to Get All Vivillon Forms Pokemon GO
To get all Vivillon forms in Pokemon GO, you need to collect postcards from different regions and put them in the newly-added Postcard Book. Okay, how do you get postcards? Well, that part is really (and needlessly) complicated, and you can read more about it here. Basically, there are two ways to save postcards. The first one is by receiving a gift from a Gym or PokeStop in a place you’re visiting. You tap the gift in your inventory, and save the postcard from there by tapping the pin button. After you’ve done that, you can send the gift to a friend.
The second method is by receiving gifts from friendly Trainers from around the world. Go into your friends list and find the gift you want to save the postcard from. Once again, tap the gift and pin the postcard. Rinse and repeat. Good luck getting all of the Vivillon forms, though.
Pokemon GO Vivillon Map – All Patterns and Regions
You will find the map and list of all Pokemon GO Vivillon patterns or forms and the regions they appear in below. The info comes straight from the official website, so you know it’s legit. There are eighteen unique patters of the butterfly Pokemon, and they’re scattered all over the world. If you want to collect them all, you are definitely going to have to put the work in. I recommend going to some Pokemon GO forums, such as the game’s subreddit and the Silph Road subreddit. I’m sure they’ll have entire threads of Trainer exchanges.
