NFS Unbound How to Start Over & Create New Save in Singleplayer
Not sure how to start a new game in Need For Speed Unbound? One of the core parts of any NFS game is its single-player element, where players get to experience the story. In Unbound, we play a rookie racer working their way to the top in a story revolving around broken friendships and robberies. This guide explains how to start over in NFS Unbound and create a new save for the single-player career mode.
How to Start Over and Create a New Save in Need For Speed Unbound
So, how to start over the career mode in Need For Speed Unbound? Most of the previous Need For Speed games allowed players to create a new save and start a new single-player game. Thus, that’s something players expect to be available in NFS Unbound as well. After all, it seems perfectly normal to have a “New Game” feature, something as simple and fundamental in games with a single-player mode. Surprisingly enough, the answer is not what you would expect. To the best of our knowledge, there doesn’t seem to be a “normal” way to start over in Need For Speed Unbound. We’ve checked all options and menus. And, if there is a way to start a new game in NFS Unbound, we haven’t found one. Hopefully, the developers will add this basic feature at some point.
However, there is a workaround for this – the brute force method. You can create a new save in NFS Unbound by deleting the old one. On PC, head to your “Documents” folder, find NFS Unbound and look for the “Saves” folder. Delete it, restart your PC, and start NFS Unbound. You should start a new single-player game in Need For Speed Unbound. And here’s how to start over on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S:
PlayStation 5
- Go to PS5 Settings.
- Open Saved Data and Game/App Settings.
- Select Saved Data (PS5).
- Deleted the Save data for Unbound from the console storage.
Xbox Series X/S
- On the Home screen, select “My games & apps”.
- Highlight NFS Unbound.
- Press the “Menu” button.
- Select Manage game & add-ons.
- Select the Saved data box.
- Choose the item you want to delete and delete it.
Xbox delete worked.
Works perfectly on PS5
Thanks for the tips ??
Wokrs perfectly ! ?
Thank You ???
Just want to say the method for consoles does not work.
Really
It does but say bye bye to ya online aswell
Would deleting the saved data on your storage AND the cloud, not fix the bug and make it so you can start over? I am onestly stumped at what to do at this point and don’t want to delete my online data if the cloud delete won’t work
