Bottle Caps in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Bottle Caps in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are a valuable resource. Hence, they don’t come cheap. If you want to train your Pokemon beyond what they can normally achieve, though, then you’ll have to get your hands on them. In this guide, we are going to show you how to get Bottle Caps in Scarlet and Violet. And, if you’re new to the concept, we’ll also explain how to use them.
How to Get Bottle Caps in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
To get Bottle Caps in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you simply need to purchase them. They are available in the Delibird shops dotted around the map. By that, I mean they’re mostly in larger cities, like Mesagoza, Levincia and Cascarrafa. Now, the Delibirds offer different things, depending on the town you’re in, but that’s only true for the Battle Items section. If, instead, you go into General Goods, then the Bottle Caps are always gonna be right there, along with a slew of other items. And the Caps only cost an extortionate, unforgivable 20,000 a pop. There might be a place somewhere in the large world of Paldea where you can find them on the ground for free. However, if that is the case, we haven’t been able to find one.
And that’s all we know about how to get Bottle Caps in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at time of writing. We’ll be sure to add more details as we discover them. The game is still very young, so there’s a lot more for us to find. As for why the Bottle Caps are important, they are basically payment for Hyper Training. What is that, you ask? Well, there is an NPC somewhere in the game (we have yet to find where) that will accept them as a form of currency. In exchange, they will train your Pokemon beyond the normal limits. This will likely not be necessary if you’re not planning to play competitively. If you do, then you’ll have to keep saving up for those Bottle Caps. Makes sense why they’re so expensive now, right?
