Will COD Points Carry Over to Warzone 2
Will your COD Points from Warzone transfer to Warzone 2? With Warzone 2 on the horizon, battle royale fans around the world are already preparing to switch to a new game. No, the original Warzone is not shutting down. But let’s be honest here, everyone is going to jump into Warzone 2. And with that switch, many players would like to know what would happen with their accumulated COD Points. Will you be able to carry over COD Points to Warzone 2? Read on as we explain everything you need to know.
Will COD Points from Warzone Transfer to Warzone 2?
So, are you wondering what will happen with your Warzone COD Points? Once Warzone 2 launches on November 16th, Warzone 1 servers will temporarily go down. Nonetheless, the game will not be shut down permanently, and you will still be able to play Warzone after a couple of weeks. However, the game, rebranded as Warzone Caldera, will no longer have an in-game store. And, there will be no new seasons, new battle passes, or new cosmetics. New content for Warzone and other older Call of Duty games will be few and far between if we get anything at all.
Luckily, your COD Points from Warzone will not be left behind. Activision has confirmed that you will be able to transfer and use all your points from older Cal of Duty games in Warzone 2. In essence, your COD Points are not linked to a specific game. Rather, they are bonded to your Activision account. Thus, no matter which Call of Duty game you’re playing, you’ll have your Call of Duty Points available. Thus, if you are planning on switching to Warzone 2 your points will be there, readily available. Unfortunately, we can not say the same for your skins and other cosmetics. These will not transfer from Warzone to Warzone 2.
