To find and get the Onslaught Shield in God of War Ragnarok, you have to push through the main story until you get to the fight with Garm in Helheim. It’s a lengthy battle, and kinda tough, so be prepared. After you finally manage to drop the great beast, you’ll find yourself on top of a ledge. Head through the doorway to the south and climb onto the next ledge. Turn to the east and go down the stairs. There will be a regular, wooden chest on the right that you can open, but that’s not what we’re after. The path you’re on ends with a large contraption and a big wheel that opens the door. That’s where we want to be.

To get the God of War Ragnarok Onslaught Shield, you need to open the legendary chest to the right of the aforementioned wheel. That’s all there is to it, really.
