Can Teddiursa, Ursaluna & Ursaring be Shiny?

UPDATE: It seems like Ursaluna won’t actually have a shiny version. So, don’t waste a shiny Ursaring just yet. Original text follows.

Yes, Teddiursa, Ursaring and Ursaluna can all be shiny in Pokemon GO. Well, at the time of writing, only Teddiursa and Ursaring exist in the game. Ursaluna will be joining in November, during the Teddiursa Community Day, so we don’t yet know what it’s going to look like. However, if it’s anything like the other two, it will be some shade of a bright, neon green. Yes, if you’ve never encountered a shiny Teddiursa and Ursaring, they are very, very green instead of brown. I’d say it’s one of the most obvious shiny Pokemon in the game. And if you haven’t yet caught or evolved one of them, then the Community Day is definitely going to be a great opportunity to do so.

And there you go, that’s basically all you need to know on the subject of the shiny Teddiursa, Ursaring and Ursaluna in Pokemon GO. As for the Community Day, we’ll have a full guide later on, but you should know that it’s going to be one of the better such events. I mean, just the fact that it will introduce the final Teddiursa evolution is incentive enough, but there’s more to it. As always, it is going to offer a ton of event bonuses. On top of that, if you manage to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna, it is going to know the High Horsepower Ground-type Charged Attack. It will have 100 Power in Trainer Battles and 110 Power in Gyms and Raids.
