As a way to say sorry to all their fans, Blizzard has prepared a set of rewards for all players this October. Firstly, there will be several Double Match XP weekends. The exact dates are yet to be announced but we will update the article once we know them.

“We apologize for any issues players experienced around the game’s launch. To help make up for any lost time, we’re planning to run several Double Match XP weekends: we will confirm the specific dates for these soon,” Blizzard wrote.

But that’s not all, as we will also receive two cosmetic items for free! The Cursed Captain Reaper legendary skin and the Health Pack weapon charm will be free to claim for everyone. So, what will you need to do in order to get them? Well, all you have to do is to log in to Overwatch 2 anytime starting October 25th through to the end of Season One. The first season is expected to end on December 6th, 2022. Thus, you’ll have quite a lot of time to claim the rewards.
