How to Unlock Genshin Impact 3.1 Altar of Mirages Domain

To unlock the Altar of Mirages Domain in Genshin Impact 3.1, you first thing you have to do is make every glyph on the Scarlet Sand Slate light up. In order for that to happen, you need to complete the Golden Slumber world quest chain. Then, you also have to finish the first step of the follow-up mission, called Dual Evidence. At this point, the Scarlet Sand Slate should be fully lit up, meaning that you have full access to every door the item can open. Now, head over to the teleport waypoint in Khemenu Temple. Head east into the main room of the temple. Then, hang a right (aka north) and go through the large doorway.

The next step to unlock the Genshin Impact 3.1 Altar of Mirages Domain is to proceed going north through the smaller room until you come across the door locked with a closed book. Use the Scarlet Sand Slate to open the door, then drop through the hole in the ground. Be careful, since it’s really deep. You can easily die if you don’t slow the fall down before reaching the ground. At the bottom, you’ll see a large and long staircase leading up and to the east, straight to the door of the domain. Just interact with it, and boom, there you have it. Incidentally, if you follow the path leading north, it will eventually take you to a huge cavern. That, however, is not the subject here.
