Splatoon 3 Conch Shell Use & How to Get
Splatoon 3 is definitely a Splatoon game. Bright, action-packed, fun, and colorful. And while it sticks very closely to the established Splatoon gameplay formula, it does do a couple of things differently from its predecessors. One of these new gameplay elements is Conch Shells. But what are Conch Shells for in Splatoon 3? Well, if you want to learn more about them and how they work, we’re going to explain everything you need to know about Conch Shell use and how to get them in Splatoon 3.
How to Get Conch Shells in Splatoon 3
When the next Splatfest gets announced in Splatoon 3, an event stand is going to be placed in Splatsville. You can find it near the city’s spawn point. Once you interact with this booth, you can then choose which team you are going to be playing for during the event. This is where you will earn Conch Shells. Specifically, you’ll earn these whenever your Catalog Level increases. To get this to increase, you need to take part in online matches (not counting custom matches).
As of right now, you can only earn Conch Shell through this method. However, this may change in the future if the devs decide to change or expand this system. Now, let’s see what this is actually used for in the game itself.
How to Use Conch Shells in Splatoon 3
Now that we’ve covered how to acquire Conch Shells, let’s get into their use. To use your Conch Shells, head to the Lobby. Once you get there, look for the Shell-Out Machine. It is right next to your Locker Room. Use the machine and, in exchange for a Conch Shell, you will receive a random item from the machine. One last important thing to note here is that these Conch Shell are going to disappear once the Splatfest ends, so you will want to use them before that happens.
