Splatoon 3 Salmon Run, How to Play & Rewards
Splatoon 3 is out on the Nintendo Switch. This fun and – literally – very colorful multiplayer game is full of all sorts of content for players to enjoy. If you have played Splatoon 2, then you are already familiar with Salmon Run. The good news is that this 4-player PvE game mode is also present in Splatoon 3 as well, where it is called Salmon Run Next Wave. If you are wondering how to unlock this game mode, how to play Salmon Run in Splatoon 3, and what rewards you can get out of it, this is the guide for you.
How to Play Salmon Run in Splatoon 3
In order to be able to play Salmon Run Next Wave, you will first need to unlock it in the game. And for that, you have to reach Level 4. This is done by playing regular multiplayer matches. It shouldn’t take you too long to reach Level 4, you can do it in about an hour or so. Once you hit Lvl 4, go to Mr. Grizz’s shop. This is located in Splatsville, at the top of the stairs next to the Multiplayer Arena. Go inside and you will be greeted by Mr. Grizz and then get the option to start a Salmon Run.
Splatoon 3 Salmon Run Rewards
There are several rewards that you can earn from participating in Salmon Runs. The first reward is so-called Grizzco Points. You earn these each time you successfully complete a round of Salmon Run Next Wave. You can then redeem these Grizzco Points at the exchange desk in Grizzco Industries for various bonuses. You also get Catalog Points from Salmon Runs. Finally, if you manage to damage the King Salmonid in an Xtrawave, you will – in addition to these previous rewards – also earn some Fish Scales.
