Save Nick The Quarry
If you want to know how to save Nick in The Quarry, you’ve come to the right place. There are several points throughout the story where your choices will decide his fate. In this guide, we’ll show you where these “crossroads” lie and what to choose when you get there in order to save Nick in The Quarry. Before we begin, though, keep in mind that there will be big SPOILERS from here on out.
How to Save Nick in The Quarry
To save Nick in The Quarry, the first thing you need to know is that the bite in Chapter 3 is completely inevitable. Nick is going to get infected no matter what. Once that does happen, and Abi gets the choice to either help Nick or run to camp, you absolutely have to help Nick. Abi will distract the werewolf and can get bit herself if you don’t hold your breath properly, so do keep that in mind.
The next time Abi and Nick cross paths in Chapter 6, the latter will be noticeably worse for wear. He will turn violent towards Abi, and you’ll have the chance to shoot him or not. You need to shoot Nick as Abigail in order to avoid her getting decapitated. Don’t worry, you won’t kill him, just scare him off.
Step #3 to save Nick in The Quarry happens when Ryan and Laura find him in the red-lit cage under the house in Chapter 8. Stop Laura from shooting him; the ammo is laced will silver, so it will be fatal this time around. You can free Jacob by using the breakers, but if you fail, Nick will eat him. You can still save Nick if that happens, but it’s still not something I’d recommend happen.
The last step to save Nick is to kill the werewolf that bit him, aka Caleb the White Wolf. In Chapter 10, he will attack Dylan and Kaitlyn in the lodge, and you have to dispose of him somehow. The easiest way to do so is to lock Caleb in the freezer. When the morning comes, he will turn back into a human and die of the cold, freeing Nick from the curse. And that’s how you save Nick in The Quarry.
