Alolan Geodude Community Day Release Date & Time

The release date and time of the Alolan Geodude Community Day in Pokemon GO is Saturday, May 21st 2022 from 11 AM to 2 PM local time. So, if you’ve been wondering what time is the Community Day in Pokemon GO going to take place this time around, now you know. So, mark your calendars, set your alarm up, whatever you need to do. Obviously, the start of the show will be Alolan Geodude, as well as the Alolan Golem you can evolve it into. Also, the Rollout Rock-type Fast Attack will be making its debut, too. And don’t forget the exclusive Special Research story called A Rocky Road. Just be aware that it costs one buck (or your local equivalent) to participate in it.

Pokemon GO Alolan Geodude Community Day Rewards & Bonuses

The full list of the Pokemon GO Alolan Geodude Community Day rewards is not yet available, but we do know the event bonuses. The developers always keep the rewards secret; you have to participate and discover that stuff on your own. As for the bonuses, here’s a list of them.

  • 3× Stardust for catching Pokemon
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokemon
  • 2× chance to receive Geodude XL Candy from catching Alolan Geodude
  • Incense activated during the event will last for 3 hours.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours
  • Trades made during the event and up to two hours afterward will require 50% less Stardust
  • One additional special trade can be made during the event and up to two hours afterward for a maximum of two for the day
  • Taking a few snapshots apparently unlocks some kind of surprise

There is also a special group bonus. Namely, “if enough Pokemon are caught with help from a single Lure Module, the 3× Catch Stardust bonus for Trainers near the Lured PokeStop will become a 4× bonus for 30 minutes.” It replaces the 3x bonus; they don’t stack.
