A pop-culture staple and worldwide phenomenon ever since Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was released all the way back in 1977, this iconic weapon has appeared in many movies, TV shows, and video games over the years. What makes the lightsaber so formidable – and cool – is the fact that it can be used both for offense, as well as for defense. Because of this, it’s no wonder that this weapon has made its way to Fortnite. Where to Find Lightsabers in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

There are several lightsaber models you can get in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. These are: Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber (green), Kylo Ren’s lightsaber (red), Mace Windu’s lightsaber (purple), and Obi Wan’s lightsaber (blue). Apart from featuring different animations and weapon models, each of these has the same stats. In previous seasons, lightsabers could only be found in special chests called Lightsaber Cubes. But that isn’t the case anymore, and you can now get these as floor loot and from chests. The lightsabers don’t have a specific spawn location, which means that you can find them anywhere on the map.

How to Block Hits Using Lightsaber in Fortnite

Besides using it as a melee weapon, you can also block hits with your Lightsaber. This applies to both melee and ranged attacks from other players. To do this, take out and equip your lightsaber first. Then, hold down the Aim button on your keyboard or controller. This will cause your character to hold the lightsaber defensively, and block any attacks (provided you are facing directly forwards to where the attack is coming from).
