Pokemon GO Mega Moment Special Research Tasks & Rewards

Pokemon GO is changing the way it handles Mega Evolutions. When they were first introduced to the game, fan reaction to how this system was handled was mixed. Due to this, developer Niantic have decided to adjust Mega Evolutions so that players will have more fun doing them. To celebrate this, the “A Mega Moment” event has started in Pokemon GO, including Special Research Tasks and Rewards. We are going to list all of them out here, including what you need to do in order to complete them, as well as what you can get by doing these tasks.

A Mega Moment Special Research Tasks & Rewards in Pokemon GO

The “A Mega Moment” event is slated to begin this Friday, April 29th, 2022, at 10:00 AM Local Time and last until Sunday, May 1st, at 8:00 PM Local Time. During this time, you will be able to undertake and complete related Special Research Tasks. Here are all of them, their requisites, and rewards:

Step 1:

• Catch 3 Pokemon: Bulbasaur, Charamander, or Squirtle encounter. This will then set you to pick the Venusaur, Charizard, or Blastoise path.
• Rewards: 500 XP, 200 Stardust, and 10x Poke Balls.

Step 2:

• Catch 5 Pokemon: x10 Poke Balls.
• Use x5 Berries to catch Pokemon: x10 Great Balls.
• Power up Pokemon 5x: x10 Razz Berries.
• Rewards: 200x Venusaur / Charizard / Blastoise Mega Energy, 1x Premium Battle Pass, and a Venusaur / Charizard / Blastoise encounter.

Step 3:

• Earn 5 hearts with your buddy: 50x Venusaur / Charizard / Blastoise Mega Energy.
• Power up Pokemon 10 times: 50x Venusaur / Charizard / Blastoise Mega Energy.
• Mega Evolve a Venusaur / Charizard / Blastoise.
• Rewards: 1,000 XP, 600 Stardust, and 100x Venusaur / Charizard / Blastoise Mega Energy.

Step 4:

• Win a raid: 5x Revives.
• Defeat a Team GO Rocket Grunt: x2 Silver Pinap Berries
• Take a snapshot of your buddy: x6 Hyper Potions.
• Rewards: 2,000 Stardust, 1,500 Stardust, and 100x Venusaur / Charizard / Blastoise Mega Energy.
