In our Pokemon GO Sustainability Week Field Research Rewards & Collection Challenge guide, we’re going to give you some important details about the new event. It’s main draw is the debut of Oranguru (more about that in our Oranguru Weakness, Counters & Best Moveset guide), but there’s a lot more to it. So, we’re gonna show you what else there is to do in the Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 event, which will last from April 20th at 10 AM to April 25th at 8 PM local time.

Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Field Research Tasks & Rewards

The Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Field Research Tasks and their rewards actually all revolve around, well, gathering trash and the environment in some capacity. You’ll see what I mean when you go through the list below. The most interesting part of it all is that, during the event, you’ll be meeting Cherubi pretty much whenever you walk one kilometer. The other rewards are just as useful, though.

• Catch three Grimer – encounter with Trubbish (can be shiny)
• Catch three Trubbish – one Silver Pinap Berry
• Capture five grass-type Pokemon – encounter with Snivy (can be shiny), Turtwig (can be shiny), Chespin
• Power up Pokemon five times – fifty Mega Abomasnow Energy and fifty Mega Venusaur Energy
• Walk one kilometer – encounter with Cherubi (can be shiny)

Pokemon GO Sustainability Week Collection Challenge 2022

The Pokemon GO Sustainability Week 2022 Collection Challenge, unlike the Field Research Tasks, is all about catching specific Pokemon. There are seven on the list that you need to capture before you can get the rewards. You don’t really earn that much from the Collection Challenge, but then again, it’s more than adequate considering that all you need to do is catch seven Pokemon. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a Mossy Lure for some of them, as noted in the list below.

• Catch a Cherubi
• Catch a Grimer
• Capture a Weepinbell (requires Mossy Lure before it will spawn)
• Capture a Gloom (requires Mossy Lure before it will spawn)
• Catch a Trubbish
• Catch a Grotle
• Rewards: 15 Great Balls, Meganium, 10,000 XP
