FFXIV Resplendent Feathers Patch 6.1
Every FFXIV patch has brought many changes and additions to the game, and patch 6.1 is no exception. These changes include new content both big and small – from entire questchains and new locations, all the way to brand new items. Resplendent Feathers are one such new item. This item will allow you to get a new mount. Of course, you will first need to get your virtual hands on some Resplendent Feathers before you can do this. In this guide, we will show you where and how you can acquire Resplendent Feathers in FFXIV Patch 6.1.
How to Get Resplendent Feathers in FFXIV Patch 6.1
To be able to get these, you will first need to get another thing first. Namely – Kumbhiraskin Treasure Maps. The description for this item states that it is: “A timeworn zonureskin map revealing the location of an unknown treasure.” These maps are acquired from the Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map item. It looks like a rolled-up piece of paper inside a glass bottle, and there are two ways you can get it in FF14. The first method is to simply purchase them from other players. The second is more involved and requires that you search for them at Level 90 gathering nodes. Once you have one of these Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Maps, use the Decipher action on it to get the Kumbhiraskin Treasure Maps. Follow the map, and Resplendent Feathers are one of the possible rewards that you can get as loot here.
Once you have at least three Resplendent Feathers (naturally, this can take quite a bit of grinding), make your way to Radz-at-Han and look for Nesvaaz there. This NPC can be found at the following coordinates there: X: 10.6 / Y: 10.0. Exchange three Resplendent Feathers for the Alkonost Whistle. Use this whistle from your inventory and you will get the Alkonost Mount.
