FFXIV Patch 6.1 Release Date & Time, Patch Notes
The FFXIV Patch 6.1 Newfound Adventure is just around the corner, with new main scenario quests, new side quests and a thrilling new alliance raid. This huge update also introduces new Duty Support system which enables you to play 4-player dungeons and trials solo with NPCs. According to the official twitter post FFXIV Patch 6.1, Newfound Adventure, is arriving on Tuesday, April 12, at 3am PDT / 6am EDT / 11am BST. At the same time, the FFXIV launcher and Lodestone will be unavailable while infrastructure maintenance is performed, which is scheduled to end at 6:00 PM PDT / 1:00 AM GMT / 11:00 AM (AEST).

The patch notes for FFXIV 6.1 update are long and you can see detailed list on the official Final Fantasy XIV webpage, however, we have highlighted some of the new changes below.
- New 24-player Alliance Raid – Myths of the Realm, Part 1: Aglaia available. Parties matched automatically via the Duty Finder will comprise 1 tank, 2 healers, and 5 DPS. You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in Aglaia. Upon completing Aglaia, players can also earn a separate reward once per week: two Cracked Anthoclusters and one Aglaia Coin. The Aglaia Coin can be exchanged with Nesvaaz in Radz-at-Han (X:10.6 Y:10.0).

- 4 Role Quests
- A new hidden dungeon has been added
- A new trial has been added: After completing the main scenario quest “Endwalker,” speak with the Wandering Minstrel in Old Sharlayan (X:12.7 Y:14.2) as a level 90 Disciple of War or Magic.
- Crystalline Conflict New PVP Mode
- Submersible rank increased to 95
- New lands available for purchasing in Empyreum
- All plots on the Oceanian data center are now available for purchase.
- A lottery system for the purchase of land has been implemented.
