Diablo 2 down? D2R Server Status, Blizzard Scheduled Maintenance
At the moment, Diablo 2 Resurrected servers are down. Blizzard hasn’t announced any scheduled maintenance. In this guide, we’ll share with you how to check if Blizzard Servers are down and Diablo 2 Resurrected server status.
Are Diablo 2 Servers Down?
Update on October 7th, 2022: UPDATE: On Tuesday, October 7th, due to severe pressure on the Battle.net servers following the launch of Overwatch 2, all other Blizzard games are currently experiencing issues. We will update the article when we have more information.
Original Story: At the time of writing D2R servers are currently down. The latest Diablo 2 maintenance is scheduled for Monday, May 16th, and Tuesday, May 17th, 2022. The servers will be offline for one hour in the case of Diablo 2 Classic, and two hours for Diablo 2 Resurrected. Here is the official schedule for both of these titles:
- Diablo 2 maintenance is scheduled for Monday, May 16th, 2022, from 10 AM PDT until 11 AM PDT.
- Diablo 2 Resurrected maintenance is scheduled for Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, from 10 AM PDT until 12 PM PDT.
The best way to stay updated about the status of D2 servers is – apart from this guide, of course – to visit the official Blizzard support pages. There are two Twitter pages dedicated to this – one for the Americas, and the other for Europe. Besides these two Twitter pages, you can also check Blizzard’s Battle.net support page. All of these will notify you concerning scheduled maintenance beforehand, as well as if servers are currently down – either due to maintenance or because of unplanned circumstances.
The Battle.net client typically also displays this information several days in advance, so you will have plenty of time to prepare for the downtime. And, of course, you can always bookmark this guide and check back periodically. We will always have it updated with the latest official information about maintenance and server outages.

I would like to talk to the manager of Diablo 2 Resurrected. Two of my kids are unable to play the game which I paid for!!!
All character names are now written in caps, custom keybindings are not saved anymore. Great “maintenance” …
Its 9pm in texas and the servers are still down…when will they be back up?
Kind of a laugh and a half it takes six hours to maintain a 20 to 30 year old game remastered what the hell are you doing over there.
Why’s is the server down again on d2r I know it was scheduled this after noon but it down again
