AS you no doubt already know, every week, a different Pokemon will be given their own Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO. The Spotlight Hour today is dedicated to none other than Sudowoodo. While it may look like a Grass-type Pokemon at first glance, it is actually a Rock-type. First introduced in Generation II, Sudowoodo evolves from Bonsly. And now this latest Pokemon GO’s Spotlight Hour in March 2022 is all about Sudowoodo and we are going to tell you all about it, as well as answer the question of whether or not Sudowoodo can be Shiny.
Pokemon GO Sudowoodo Spotlight Hour
The Sudowoodo Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO is set to begin today, March 22nd, 2022. As always, it is going to last for one hour – from 6 PM until 7 PM, regardless of your time zone. During this time frame, the odds of encountering a Sudowoodo in the wild are going to be much higher. When you encounter a Sudowoodo, be sure to exploit its vulnerabilities. Sudowoodo is damaged normally by Rock, Bug, Ghost, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Dark, and Fairy moves. It has no immunities and it is resistant to Normal, Flying, Poison, and Fire moves. The best moves to use against it and the ones it is most susceptible to are Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, and Grass. All of these deal double damage to it.
Can Sudowoodo be Shiny?
To answer right away – yes, Sudowoodo can be Shiny in Pokemon GO. And even though the odds of getting a Shiny variant of this Pokemon are not increased during this Spotlight Hour, the fact that there are going to be so many Sudowoodos in the wild means that you can run into a Shiny Sudowoodo if you are lucky.
