Where to Invade in Elden Ring
If you’re wondering where to invade in Elden Ring, or what the best place to invade in Elden Ring is, you’re not the only one. Would-be invaders are not having a great time at the moment; the system just doesn’t seem to be working that great. Finding a good location to pull it off is really difficult. Hopefully, this guide is gonna help you out, at least until the developers tweak the mechanic.
Elden Ring Where is the Best Place to Invade
When it comes to the subject of where to invade in Elden Ring, or where the best place to invade is, the first thing to know is that it’s subject to change. Normally, in each Souls game, one location calcifies as the arena for players to fight one another. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened just yet in Elden Ring. There are already people basically scheduling duels on the subreddit and other forums and running the Taunter’s Tongue to make things easier. That’s good, but there’s no one set PvP battleground. That doesn’t mean that we can’t point you to at least a few places where you might have some luck.
It seems that, at least at the moment, Caelid is the place to be if you want to invade. Based on this and this Reddit thread, that’s where a number of people have managed to make it work. Specific spots include the Cathedral of Dragon Communion, Sellia Crystal Tunnel, Dragonbarrow West, Bestial Sanctum, Redmane Castle and Fort Faroth. Another zone for you to check out for where to invade in Elden Ring (if you’ve come that far) is Leyndell, especially around the Outer Wall Phantom Tree site of grace. You can also try around the First Step site of grace, as well as the Church of Elleh.
Then there’s this one Reddit user that also recommends Siofra River, the point just outside the two gargoyles boss room, and others. Of course, all of this may or may not work for you. We can’t give any guarantees. Plus, it seems that trying to invade in an area that you’re too high of a level for doesn’t work, so keep that in mind.
Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
