Elden Ring Remembrance Duplication not Working

If you think the Elden Ring remembrance duplication is not working for you, that can be a serious problem. After all, duplicating a remembrance is the only way to get both weapons these items unlock if taken to Enia. Alternatively, you can get one weapon, and use the second remembrance to get Runes. So, what is the cause of this problem? Can you fix it? Well, let’s see.

Remembrance Duplication not Working in Elden Ring

If you are having trouble with the Elden Ring Remembrance duplication system not working, there are a few potential reasons for this. The first one is, of course, that you’ve encountered a bug. If that is the case, then I’m afraid that there’s not much you can do about it aside from contacting From Software’s support, or loading a previous save, if you have one. However, the more likely situation is that you’re not using it “right,” for lack of a better term.

From here on out, I’m going to assume you’ve got that part of the whole thing down. First off, you can only use a Mausoleum to duplicate a remembrance once. So, if your Elden Ring remembrance duplication is not working, that might be the reason. On top of that, some Mausoleums can duplicate only specific remembrances (the game will tell you which ones).

Then there are turtles that can’t do duplication at all, and often have no bells, but there are bell-less turtles that can duplicate remembrances from lesser bosses. Lastly, each remembrance can only be duplicated once. Any of these situations can make it seem like the duplication system is borked. So, be sure that the Mausoleum you’re trying can actually replicate the remembrance you’re after and that you haven’t used it before. Last bit of advice – since you can only replicate these items once, do not use them to get Runes unless you’re absolutely certain you don’t want both weapons you can get for them by offering the remembrance to Enia in Roundtable Hold.
