Elden Ring Kenneth Haight Pledge
The Elden Ring Kenneth Haight pledge is a choice that you can make in the game after you’ve done a huge favor for the NPC. Oh, and after you’ve exhausted all his dialogue. Of course, you first have to figure out where he is in the first place, something that a number of players have been having trouble with. So, in this guide, we’ll show you where Kenneth is in Elden Ring, and whether you should pledge your allegiance to him or not.
Where is Kenneth Haight in Elden Ring
The Elden Ring Kenneth Haight NPC is northeast of the Mistwood Outskirts site of grace, near the road. In fact, you might have already heard him call for help if you’ve walked past this general area. A lot of people apparently have, but weren’t able to pinpoint where the shouting is coming from. He’s actually on the “bridge” above you. So, what you need to do is hop up the rocks on either side of the “bridge” and clamber up to the top. That’s where you’ll find the dainty Kenneth. Talk to him, and he’ll give you a side quest to clear out his castle, Fort Haight. By the way, I’m putting “bridge” in quotes because it’s techincally a giant chunk of rubble from god-knows-what.
Elden Ring Kenneth Haight Pledge
The Kenneth Haight pledge in Elden Ring happens after you clear out Fort Haight. Report back to Kenneth near Mistwood Outskirts, and he’ll give you the Erdsteel Dagger for your troubles (really good weapon, by the way). Make sure to talk to him two more times after this point. The first time, he’ll tell you that he’s headed back to the fort, and in the second, he’ll ask you to pledge fealty to him. If you accept, he’ll basically say that you should meet him in the fort for your knighting. When you meet him there, well, you’ll learn that your knighthood is not gonna happen.
At that point, you can kill him and get a Golden Seed. In fact, you can end him just after receiving the Erdsteel Dagger and still get the seed, if you want to. I haven’t been able to confirm what happens to Kenneth if you let him live, or if you refuse his offer. If you know, tell us in the comments!
Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
I refused his offer just so I could tell you what he said he gets uppity and says blah blah blah if you change your mind see me at the fort…….. so I defeat him! Still got the golden seed
