Elden Ring Blaidd Location, Not Appearing in Mistwood Ruins
Blaidd is a very interesting NPC that you will be able to encounter in Elden Ring. Wielding an oversized greatsword, and sporting a black armor set with a flowing cap, he is obviously based off of Guts, the protagonist of Berserk. When you encounter him in the Mistwood Ruins, he will ask for your help with defeating Darriwil. However, what to do if Blaidd is not appearing in the Mistwood Ruins like he’s supposed to? And is there anything you can do if Blaidd turns hostile towards you? All of these questions and more will be answered in our Elden Ring Blaidd Location, Not Appearing in Mistwood Ruins guide.
Elden Ring Blaidd Not Appearing in Mistwood Ruins
The Mistwood Ruins is a location that can be found in the eastern part of Limgrave. When you enter this place, you will hear howling. Go to Church of Elleh and ask Merchant Kale about these mysterious sounds. Kale will teach you the Finger Snap emote. What you then need to do is to go back to the Mistwood Ruins and use the Finger Snap there. This will make Blaidd reveal himself. If you cannot find him, keep exploring these ruins above ground, since he is there, sort of “hidden” behind a wall. Blaidd will ask you to kill Bloodhound Knight Darriwil. This boss can be found at Forlon Hound Evergaol.
Note that, if you have already defeated this boss without first encountering Blaidd for the first time, then you will not be able to find him at Mistwood Ruins. Instead, you can meet him at the Siofra River Well, at Renna’s request.
Elden Ring Blaidd Turns Hostile Solution
If Blaidd turns hostile towards you, there is a way to make him friendly again. What you need to do first is to acquire the Celestial Dew consumable. After that, go to the Church of Vows and use the Celestial Dew there to get absolution. This should make all the previously hostile NPCs in the game friendly towards you again. Our video shows this entire process.
Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
