There are three methods you can use to get your hands on a Fire Stone in Pokemon. The first is to go out and find them in the wild. Smashing rocks will drop materials, and there is a chance they could relinquish a Fire Stone.

Other than this, you can farm satchels then head to a trading post and buy the Fire Stones you need. Satchels are a new feature and get left by other players through the Lost and Found feature. The second way is to enter into space-time distortions. These are new events in this installment of the franchise. You will get notice of the event as you travel around, and it will be marked on your map. Around five minutes are available for you to reach the spot.
