How to Catch Alpha Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus
Alpha Pokemon are easy to spot. They are much bigger and have glowing, red eyes. Every area on the map should have at least one in it. In some cases, two or three may even be in close proximity.
Catching an alpha Pokemon is like trying to bag a tough Pokemon. Your best bet is to get a sneaky hit on them. Creep up from behind and surprise attack them. If you go in from the front, then expect to have fierce resistance. Luckily, there are a few tactics you can employ.
The heavy ball will be your best friend. As they only go about 5ft you need to get in very close. Even better than this are Gigaton Balls. You will unlock these at Galaxy Team Star Rank 7.
Once you have either, entice the Pokemon using berries. Oran berries found on most trees will do the job. Alternatively, use that corresponding Pokemons favorite food. Throw the delicious food or berry, then once it takes the bait sneak behind and hit it with your ball. If it does not work, run then return.
These Pokemon actually respawn should you knock one out. Go back to a resting point and rest through night and day. When you return, the Pokemon should have respawned in the location.
