R6 Extraction Crossplay & How to Invite Cross-Platform Friends
One of the best things about modern gaming is the increasing inclusion of crossplay into more and more of our favorite video games. This feature allows us to play with our friends even though they play on different gaming platforms than we do. Rainbow Six Extraction also possesses this feature, but getting it to work can be a bit confusing. Luckily, our R6 Extraction Crossplay & How to Invite Cross-Platform Friends guide is here to tell you everything that you need to know about how this feature works in R6E, so that you can enjoy crossplay with your friends.
Rainbow Six Extraction Crossplay & How to Invite Cross-Platform Friends
Rainbow Six Extraction’s crossplay system is not particularly hard to use. This is available on all gaming platforms that this game will be available on. Which means that you will be able to crossplay with your friends that play on the PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna. To make sure that you can all play together, you need to add them as friends on the Ubisoft Connect app. After that, you will get the option to invite them to play with you in the game. Easy and simple. Rainbow Six Extraction also has another great system for playing with your friends – the Buddy Pass. We will explain how it works in the next section.
The R6 Extraction Buddy Pass
We have a much more in-depth guide that explains everything about the Buddy Pass, so we will keep it brief here. The Buddy Pass allows you to select up to two friends that do not own the full game, and allow them to play with you. This is very similar to how this system works in the It Takes Two game. The only caveats are that your friends need to download and install the trial version of the game, and that you only have 14 days to play like this, after which they, too, will need to purchase the full version of the game. Also, the Buddy Pass isn’t working at the moment, but it will go live shortly after the game fully releases.
