Company of Heroes 3 fans will be glad to know a very rough release date is here. Announced in July last year, the game has been hotly anticipated by real-time strategy fans. Developers’ Relic are not rushing, making sure the title is perfect before release. There have been a lot of updates to digest, making it easy to follow the progress of this game. Unfortunately, for Company of Heroes 3 fans, there is still a long wait to be had. The game has already been in development for a painful four years. Luckily, the developers are including fans in every stage of the creation. A host of updates and sneak peeks are being drip-fed. Pre-Alpha is being given out to people now. It is still expected that the official release will be toward the end of 2022 and could go into 2023.
Release Date Company of Heroes
Relic has been eager to share updates with fans, completing the game in stages. Announced on July 13th, 2021, it said the game would be over a year to release then. A statement on the company’s Twitter feed showed how this will play out over 2022.
January will have audio updates added to the game, including narrative inspiration. A mission deep dive will take place and Destruction: Part 1 will take happen. However, there are no details on what the latter involves. February has Destruction: Part 2 along with Gameplay, Solider Stories, and the Developer Intro.
March will see the team add the Campaign and Missions, do a Developer Intro, and an Animation Deep Dive. All of this can be followed on their Twitch Stream, so you can see the game unfold before your eyes. Their Twitter feed also has regular updates.
