Genshin Impact Windtrace Event Rerun Release Time & Date

The Windtrace rerun will begin on January 13th, 2022, starting at 10 am EST time. It will last until January 27th and finish just before 4 am EST. Before you begin, you must ensure you are above Adventure Rank 20, which should not be hard to do.

How to Play Windtrace Event with Friends in Genshin Impact

To access Windtrace with friends, you need to be in the same world. If not, you will be assigned random players in the game. Note that this is the only way to get rewards. You will not get them when you play with friends.

Start by opening the main menu and travel to co-op mode. Change your world permissions to join after approval. Your friends can then join you, or you can travel to their world.

If the co-op menu is not available, then you have a quest running. The game will tell you which one. Complete this and head back to the menu. One quest worth completing is the Ritou Escape Plan, a subquest of the Archon Quest. When you have activated the Statues of the Seven, it allows you to access the new contested zone maps.

Once you and your friends are in the game, head to Gygax in Monstadt. You can find him in the north of the island, where he was in the previous Windtrace event. Speak to the NPC and you will begin the event.
