How to Catch Heatran Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

To get and catch Heatran in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, you first have to complete the Sinnoh Pokedex and defeat the Elite Four and, of course get your National Dex. Once all that is out of the way, make your way to Stark Mountain, which is in the northwest corner of the map. When you get into the mountain, as you explore it, you’ll come across a red-haired guy called Buck. Head through the rest of the caverns with him, and you’ll eventually come across a room from which Buck will take the Magma Stone.

After that happens, head back to the Survival Area zone. Go into the first house to the left of the Pokemon Center, the one with the blue door and purplish roof. In there, you’ll see Buck again, so talk to him. The next step to get Heatran in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl is to go all the way back to Stark Mountain and the same room where the Magma Stone came from. Heatran will be in that room, in the stone circle which was previously empty. Save the game, then interact with the Pokemon to begin the fight. If you mess up, just reload the save.

So, that’s about all there is to it. If you need further help with the game, we’ve got a bunch of other Pokemon BDSP guide for you to check out. We’ve written articles like How to Get to Celestic Town and How to Get & Grow Berries.
