TMs – or Technical Moves – are special items that you can come across in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. When used, a TM can teach a particular move to a Pokemon. One of the most powerful moves in Pokemon BDSP is TM79 – the Dark Pulse. This powerful Dark-type move can be learned by some Pokemon such as Weavile, Umbreon, and Gastly, but finding it in TM form is the only way other Pokemon, like Vulpix, Blastoise, and Arceus can learn and use it. How to Get Dark Pulse TM Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
In order to be eligible to get this TM, you will first need to obtain all Gym Badges. If that is the case, you can then proceed to the Victory Road. The best place to enter it is through the entrance by the Pokemon League. Once you are inside, use Rock Climb to slide down the cliff near the purple-colored NPC there. Move left and then use Rock Climb to get back up the next cliff. Keep moving left until you reach the next screen. This is where the Dark Pulse TM is located. However, to be able to get to it, you will first need to use the Strength Hidden Move to push the rocks blocking your way. Once you have done that, you will be free to pick up the TM79 Dark Pulse.
The Dark Pulse move itself is very strong, with 80 Power, 100 Accuracy, and 15 PP. Its description states “The user releases a horrible aura imbued with dark thoughts. This may also make the target flinch.” If the Pokemon that is attacked this way gets affected with Flinch, it won’t be able to attack for one turn.
