How to Get Dratini Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

There are two ways to get Dratini in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The first one is to get the National Dex by seeing all the Pokemon in Sinnoh and becoming the Champion. Next, go to Eterna City Pokemon Center and head to the Grand Underground. From there, head down and left into Fountainspring Cave. Bob in and out of the room until you see a Dratini spawn in there.

The second way is to go into Mt. Coronet via Route 207 and use Surf to go right. Keep going right and use Rock Climb to get further up. Press on through this area until you find yourself outside. Head right and use Rock Climb again. Go inside the cave and go left to come across a large lake. Fish there until you catch a Dratini (ideally with a Super Rod).

Dratini Evolution – Dragonair & Dragonite Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

The Dratini evolution into Dragonair and Dragonite in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP happens when you level the Pokemon up enough. There’s no special requirements; no evolution items, no special times of day or night, no trading with other people, nothing like that. All you need to do is to level up your Dratini to 30, and it’s going to turn into Dragonair. Once that’s out of the way, keep leveling that one up until it reaches 55. At that point, it will evolve into Dragonite. That’s it, that’s all you have to do. Sure, it can be a grind, especially since it’s a post-game Pokemon, but still.
