How to Get Gligar – Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

To get Gligar in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, you need to look for it in the Grand Underground. Specifically, it can appear in Bogsunk Cavern, Sunlit Cavern, Swampy Cave, Big Bluff Cavern, and Rocky Cave. It seems that the Rocky Cave and Big Bluff Cavern are your best bets. With that said, one thing we have to add is that you can change the Statue Effect in your Secret Base to Flying. That way, you increase the odds of all Flying Pokemon appearing, and that includes Gligar. With that done, just go into Big Bluff Cavern or Rocky Cave and see whether there’s a Gligar in there. If it isn’t, exit the cave and go back in. Rinse and repeat until a Gligar spawns.

How to Evolve Gligar into Gliscor

To evolve Gligar into Gliscor in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, you first need to get a Razor Fang. Check out our Razor Fang guide for more details, but here’s a quick rundown. After you beat the main story of the game, head into Battle Park. Go to the southwest corner of the garden, and you’ll find a Pokeball there. Open it, and boom, there’s the Razor Fang. You can also purchase it for five Battle Points in the Tower, by the way. Anyway, give the fang to your Gligar and wait for night to fall. When it does, level up the Gligar and boom, it’ll become a Gliscor.
