Forza Horizon 5 Goliath Race
The Goliath Race is one of the hardest Forza Horizon 5 races that you will be able to compete in. It is the biggest race by distance in Horizon history, with a 34 mile (55 km) circuit lap. If you finish it in a specific amount of time, you will unlock a special trophy. Of course, it wouldn’t be such a difficult race if you could just jump into it right from the start. In this Forza Horizon 5 Goliath Race guide, we will explain everything that you will need to do in order to participate in this race, as well as what you can get out of it.
How to Unlock Goliath Race in Forza Horizon 5
The Goliath is the final Horizon Festival Mexico event. As such, you will need to complete all the races in this event that preceded it before you can take it on. This race will take you through the entire map, so you will get the chance to see all the regions and various sights, and different areas the game has to offer. To get to the race itself, just follow the map marker that will lead you to its starting point.
Of course, it should go without saying that you will need to have a really fast car if you want to win this race. Our fastest car guide has a couple of really awesome and supersonic models you can try out. The race takes around 15 minutes to complete. If you manage to complete it in first place, you will receive a bunch of prizes for doing so. These include the “Long Gone” achievement, as well as the “I can go the distance” accolade. Not to mention, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have beaten one of the hardest and longest racing sections in racing game history.
Just because it is a long race does not necessarily make it hard and believe it or not you do not need a “fast car” to win because forza’s mechanics make all ai’s cars relative to the players so if you really wanted to you could do the race in a D class 100 car. Also 15 minute lap time was not specified to what car you are using… an X class car usually takes anywhere from 10:30-11:30 depending on driving ability
