Whip Riders Republic - How to Tailwhip
The question of how to tailwhip or whip in Riders Republic seems to be coming up quite a bit among the player base. I mean, it is one of the cooler moves that you can do, but if you’re just riding your basic bike, you just can’t do it. Well, as it turns out, you actually need a specific bike. So, in this guide, we’ll show you how to get the bike and how to do the tailwhip.
How to Do Whip – Riders Republic Tailwhip
To do a whip, or a tailwhip, in Riders Republic, you first need to get the correct vehicle, as we’ve established. Specifically, you need to get the Destroyed Bike relic. That’s in the Zion, Pine Creek area, in the river that’s running from the snowy area into the more barren, mountainous region. You’re basically looking for a bike wheel sticking out of the water, next to a rock. It’s in the northern part of the river, so just walk along it until you find the bike wheel next to the rock. It’s actually not that difficult to find, all things considered, once you know where to look for it.
Once you have the Destroyed Bike, you can then execute the Tailwhip. All you need to do is get some air, hold RT+LT or R2+L2 and then press the left or right arrow on the d-pad. Yes, it’s one of the tricks that uses the combination of the shoulder buttons. Each bike has some version of this, but apparently only the Destroyed Bike has the whip. So, that’s how to do the tailwhip or whip in Riders Republic. If there’s some other way to do it, let us know in the comments below. As far as we know, this is the only way.
Riders Republic has launched on October 28th, and you can play it on pretty much any platform aside from the Switch. You can play it on PC, Amazon Luna, Stadia, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. Stay tuned, because we have more guides coming down the pipeline.
