Pokemon Go Halloween Cup Research Tasks & Rewards
Pokemon Go Halloween Cup research tasks and rewards are tied to the seasonal event in the game, which also spills over into the Go Battle League. In fact, all of the tasks in this particular research revolve entirely on participating in the Halloween Cup. Admittedly, I’m not too jazzed about that, but oh well. In this guide, we’ll show you all the research tasks and rewards in the Halloween Cup.
Halloween Cup Research – Pokemon GO Tasks & Rewards
The Pokemon Go tasks and rewards in the Halloween Cup research aren’t strictly a part of Pokemon Go Misunderstood Mischief, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth it. All of the steps in the Halloween Cup research revolve around, what else, the event-limited cup in the GO Battle League. As I understand it, this cup will last all throughout the Halloween event, from Friday, October 15th at 10 AM local time to Sunday, October 31st 8 PM local time. There are five tasks for you to complete, and you can find them in the list below.
- Battle in the GO League – Sableye
- Battle in the GBL 5 times – Yamask
- Win a Trainer Battle in the GBL – Frillish
- Win 4 Trainer Battles in the GBL – Umbreon
- Win 7 Trainer Battles in the GBL – Galarian Yamask
The rewards you get for completing all the steps are 15x Yamask Candy, 15x Sableye Candy, 15x Scraggy Candy, aside from the encounters we’ve included in the list. So, those are the Pokemon Go Halloween Cup research tasks & rewards, and you decide whether they’re worth the trouble.
Keep in mind that this whole thing is focused entirely on PvP battles in the GO League. If, like me, you generally shy away from PvP activities (and, for that matter, other people in the game in general), you might be tempted to skip over this one. I don’t think you’ll miss a lot if you do choose to opt out, but again, the decision is entirely up to you. Either way, have fun, Trainers!
I have completed and won a number of battles and have only received credit for one!! Have updated my App but still not giving me credit. What is wrong?
It’s not that I shy away from PVP stuff, but the battle system is really tedious, and is basically a crapshoot decided on the first match. If you can get a faster special than the opponent and take down their shields or knock off their pokemon 9 times out of 10 that’s the whole thing done.
