How to Save in Far Cry 6

To save your game progress in Far Cry 6, you basically have to trigger the autosave function. Yes, the game doesn’t have any manual save option; rather, you have to rely entirely on FC6 saving itself. The autosave triggers fairly often. Whenever you see a little paper icon in the top right, you’ll know that it happened. This happens mostly after completing a quest, or after a cutscene, or when you fast travel to a Libertad safe zone. The latter is pretty much your closest analog to a manual save – just teleport anywhere to a safe zone, and the little paper icon should pop up.

How to Save Game in Coop – Far Cry 6

To save your game progress in Far Cry 6 co-op mode, you need to do the same things as in single player. The system works completely the same, as in, it triggers when you complete a mission or clear out an outpost or what have you. Apparently, when the game saves for one of you, it also saves for the other person, so keep that in mind. Also, pausing the game won’t pause it for the other player, of course, which is also something to pay attention to. You can read more about this in our Far Cry 6 Coop Unlock, Crossplay, Multiplayer – How to Play With Friends guide.

Far Cry 6 Save Game Location

The default Far Cry 6 save game location for the Ubisoft Connect version of the game on PC is Windows\(your Ubisoft Connect folder)\savegames\(user id)\5266. By default, the location of the Ubisoft Connect folder is %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher. Of course, if you’ve installed these folders elsewhere, that’s where they’ll be.

The coop save being the same for inviter as it is for joinee is untrue. I played at least 5 complete missions and when I was done with coop I was returned to the training island and the only think kept was my weapons . I had to play every mission I played in coop again . And every part of the island was black again on the map. The main island too. Uggh. I have to repeat it ALL
