Most of weapons and health upgrades require ingredients that can be acquired only from animals. After killing an animal, you’ll receive a bone and the main ingredient like skin, hide or pelt.

Assassin’s Creed 4 Hunting Tips
- You can reset animal’s spawn location by simple using nearby fast travel
- Animals tend to respawn faster when nearby animals are defeated
- Farming white jaguar pelt (600R) is possible when using fast travel. The animal respawns every time you use nearby fast travel, and you can quickly walk back to spawn location.
- Lurking animals from bushes and whistling will make them come closer, then you can use surprise attack tactic
- Animals like jaguars, white jaguars, crocodiles will attack you
- Probably the best way to kill an animal is from the distance with silent sleep darts. You can craft darts easily with one animal’s bone

Great White Sharks can be found near (419,277) and (379,88) and I say “near” because harpooning sites are not completely static. After successfully killing a shark or whale the next time they spawn may be a few degrees off from the original. Also you will want to have your Jackdaws armor and artillery upgraded a bit before hunting Great Whites as they only spawn in the southern waters and enemy ships are much more powerful (***,500) latitude. Upgrades lead to my next piece of advice, if you upgrade your ship and are able to capture forts it will reveal all harpoon locations (chests, royal convoys & animus fragments too) in that section of the map.

2 Black Jaguars spant at Isla Providencia just below the Sync Point. You teleport up, drop down int the water, swim 5 meters, climb the pillar directly from water (middle pillar) and shoot 2 jaguars with pistols. Do not reload, jump down, skin, open map and repeat. Upon teleport your guns will be reloaded and you spend no ammo. 20k in less than 30 minutes.
You forgot the HUMPBACK WHALE, you can find him at the SOUTH of KINGSTON, very easy to find.

they cant be pin pointed they can be anywhere in the ocean and only appear during community events
the white whale has 9 diffrent spots that is you sail over it automatically appears and from my count id say you guys missed more fish then just the white whale lol. I have one qustion tho, what colour is a howler monkey I know the red one is like a red/orange/brown colour but whats the other one look like?

the white whale is an online event, it appears randomly
well I fell like you missed 3 things humpback whale and 2 locations for rabbits
