How to Get to The Ancients' Way Diablo 2 Resurrected
The Ancients’ Way is one of the areas that you will have to enter and travers in Diablo 2 Resurrected if you intend to finish the game, but how to get there is by no means easy. Like finding the Tomb of Tal Rasha, you will need to finish several quests before this location will become available to you. But, getting there is very much worth it, since, like its name says, this is the way to the Ancients. Defeating them will open the path to Baal. In this How to Get to The Ancients’ Way Diablo 2 Resurrected guide, we explain what you need to do to find this location.
How to Get to The Ancients’ Way D2 Resurrected
The Ancients’ Way can be reached from the Frozen Tundra. This icy cavern is connected to the Arreat Summit. In Act V, after completing the “Betrayal of Harrogath” quest, you will then receive the “Rite of Passage” quest. This is also the penultimate quest in the game and the final hurdle standing between you and defeating Baal, the Lord of Destruction. Once you overcome it, you will be able to face him in combat. Due to how all the maps in Diablo 2 Resurrected are randomized, we cannot show you the exact location where you can enter The Ancients’ Way. You will find this entrance on the edge of the Frozen Tundra map, so search for it there.
Once you enter this location, there are a couple of points of interest in here. The first of these is The Ancients’ Way waypoint. The second is the entrance to an optional dungeon called the Icy Cellar. You will be able to find a unique monster called Snapchip Shatter in here. Since he is near a gold chest, this can be a great area for farming items. Finally, the most important thing about The Ancients’ Way is that it is there that you will find the entrance to the Arreat Summit. At the top of it, you will battle three powerful Ancients. After you defeat them, the way to Baal and the Worldstone Keep will be open.
