Tools of the Trade Quest Diablo 2 Resurrected
The Diablo 2 Resurrected Tools of the Trade quest requires you to find the Monastery Barracks. The quest itself is the fifth one in Act I, and you get it from Charsi after The Forgotten Tower. Your mission is to find the Horadric Malus, which can only be picked up by a character that’s at least level 8 and hasn’t completed the quest previously, just in case you’re playing with friends. Also, you first have to rescue Deckard Cain from Tristram. If you meet these criteria, it’s time to start your search for the Malus in the Monastery Barracks. So, where are the Monastery Barracks in Diablo 2 Resurrected?
Diablo 2 Monastery Barracks Location in Tools of the Trade
The location of the Diablo 2 Resurrected Monastery Barracks in Tools of the Trade is connected to the Outer Cloister of the Monastery. Basically, proceed until you reach the Black Marsh and follow the path until you reach Tamoe Highlands. At least, the entrance into the Highlands should be on the path, but there’s no guarantee, due to the random nature of the game. From the Highlands, follow the road into Rogue Monastery and explore the area until you find the Outer Cloister, and from there the Jail, and lastly into the Monastery Barracks. Explore the Barracks in search for the Horadric Malus and its guardian, The Smith.
Which Item to Imbue in Diablo 2 Resurrected
Once you’ve found the Horadric Malus in the Monastery Barracks in Diablo 2 Resurrected Tools of the Trade, take it back to Charsi. At that moment, she’ll offer to imbue piece of regular equipment you have. The catch here is that she only does it once per difficulty, and no Magic, Rare, Set, or Unique item can be used. So, the general rule of thumb is to not use this opportunity right away. Rather, wait for a while until you get something that can really use the imbuing. The best choice are usually Circlets, particularly Diadems, due to their Quality Level and Magic Level. Therefore, you can make truly powerful items from them with Chari’s help.
