Monastery Barracks Diablo 2 Resurrected Location
The Diablo 2 Resurrected Monastery Barracks location is the place you’ll need to go to get, among other things, the Horadric Malus, an item necessary to complete the Tools of the Trade quest. However, figuring out where to find the Monastery Barracks is a tricky matter. You’ll have to trudge through several different areas, including different sections of the Monastery itself. We’ll try and guide you through the process, so let’s get to the meat of the matter.
Where to Find Monastery Barracks Location in Diablo 2 Resurrected
To find the Monastery Barracks location in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you should probably start the search from the Black Marshes and follow the road into Tamoe Highlands. You should generally stick to the roads when possible, just as a rule of thumb. Anyways, once you make it to Tamoe Highlands, stick to the road and you’ll eventually find yourself in the Rogue Monastery area. It might take some exploring to get there, but you’ll find it soon enough.
Once you make it to the Rogue Monastery, your next task is to find the Outer Cloister area. From there, explore every inch as thoroughly as you can to eventually find your way into the Jail, which in turn leads to the Barracks. The trouble is that there are apparently several locations where the Barracks can spawn, so I can’t really give you a set location, but it does seem to follow the rule of Outer Cloister > Jail > Barracks. So, that’s how you find the Diablo 2 Monastery Barracks location. However, be advised that the Monastery in general is a pretty brutal area, full of very difficult enemies. Don’t go waltzing in unprepared.
Once you find yourself in the Monastery Barracks, if you’re on the hunt for the Horadric Malus, look for the demonic NPC called The Smith. You don’t have to kill it to get the Horadric Malus, you can run past the monster if you have the armor and healing items to survive. Kite the Smith out of the room, run in, get the item, and run for your life. If you do choose to engage, well, good luck to you.
