In Deathloop, you can get the best starting purple weapon fairly quickly if you know what you’re doing, all you need to do is find a crank-wheel and use it to unlock a safe in a specific location in the Complex. Crank-Wheel Location – Deathloop The Complex

When you enter the Complex area, head for the green Laboratory Annex. If you don’t know where this is, we’ve marked it on the map screenshot below. Once you are in here, look around the room. On a table in the corner of the room, you will see a Crank-Wheel. Approach the table and pick it up. Underneath it, you will also find a “That Old Crank” note from Dr. Wenjie Evans, warning fellow researchers not to use it to access the containment chamber.

Leave the Laboratory Annex and go straight into the main facility in front of it. Hack the antenna at the entrance and go inside. Make your way up the stairs, turn left, and go through the door. Go downstairs and enter the room there. Inside, you will find the safe. Attach the Crank-Wheel and use it to open the safe, revealing its contents.

Inside the safe, you will, among other things, find The Fourpounder. This purple weapon is not just deadly, but it also sports a unique look, with BLAM being painted on the side of its barrel.
