A Common Cause - Allies Locations Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
It’s always good to have allies by your side, and nowhere is this more apparent than in the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous “A Common Cause” quest. This quest is all about gathering the groups you’ve helped along the way and asking them to help you with the assault on the Gray Garrison. Naturally, this means that you had to have spent a lot of time solving all the quests you encountered, since it isn’t apparent who will end up being your ally or not. In this A Common Cause – Allies Locations Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous guide, we will cover all the groups you can recruit to help, as well as explain where you can encounter them and what you need to do to get them on your side.
Pathfinder Wrath of The Righteous A Common Cause – Where to Find Allies For Gray Garrison Attack
In total, there are four groups of allies that can help you with your attack on the Gray Garrison, and two of these are mutually-exclusive. None are mandatory, but they all make the assault much easier than it otherwise would have been. These allies are: the Thieflings (a group of Tiefling thieves, hence the pun), Knights of the Flaming Lance, and either Halrun and his Crusaders or Ramien’s Priests of Desna. If you have helped these and recruited them into your ranks, they will assist you during the attack, in accordance with their skills. So, the Thieflings will disarm traps, while the Priests of Desna will disable enemy demons, things like that.
You will probably encounter the Thieflings first. They can be found on the left side of the Market Square. One of them is trapped under some rubble, so help him get free. After that, ask them for their help and you will have officially recruited them over to your side. Next, the Knights of the Flaming Lance. They are in the Blackwing Library. Incidentally, this is the same place where you will unlock the Trickster Mythic Path. Help them out and they, too, will pledge themselves to you.
Finally, the choice of who to support: Halrun or Ramien. This is a more complicated quest, and we have a full-length guide for it here. But to give a short explanation, Ramien can be found in the upper-left corner of the Market Square, and you will need a Scroll of See Invisibility to see and talk with him. After that, you can decide if you want to kill or spare him. If you kill him, you will get Halrun’s Crusaders on your side and if you spare him, you will get Ramien’s Priests of Desna.
