Clear the Blockage - Shadow Demon - Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
Clear the Blockage in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Shadow Demon is a monster you’ll have to fight in order to remove the rubble in the Market Square basement. You can’t remove the blockage until you defeat the demon. However, there are a few problems here. The first one is that the demon is invisible, so you need to figure out a way to see it. Once you do manage to pull that off, there’s still the matter of how to actually beat the demon. We’ll show you how to do both in this guide.
How to Clear the Blockage in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous – How to Fight Shadow Demon
To clear the blockage in the Market Square basement and fight the Shadow Demon in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, the first step is to loot the body lying near the blockage itself. On it, you’ll find a Scroll of See Invisibility. Give it to whichever party member you have that can read scrolls, then use it. This will reveal an invisible demon in the room, who’s basically preventing you from removing the blockade. You’re going to have to defeat this demon, which can be a bit easier said than done, depending on which difficulty level you’re playing. However, we do have a few tips you might find useful.
First of all, the demon is incorporeal, meaning that you’ll need a magic weapon to do any damage. Moreover, it has a pretty decent spell resistance against all but force spells. Now, any Cold Iron weapon will do here in a pinch. However, to clear the blockage and fight the shadow demon in the Market Square basement in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, the ideal tool is going to be Finnean the Talking Weapon. It has Ghost Touch, meaning that it can harm incorporeal creatures properly.
If you can manage to place a Slumber hex on the demon using Ember, you’ll then be able to pull off a coup de grace on it. Other than that, use Finnean, force spells like Magic Missile, and/or Cold Iron weapons. After you defeat the demon, interact with the blockage to clear it. All you need is a simple Athletics check.
Worth noting, if you’ve got anything that can AoE cause an effect on an enemy, that can trigger the combat for you.
I used Light of the Angels because it’s spammable and has no resource cost.
I cast see invisibility but the demon just isnt there
Cold Iron weapons, like Camellia’s rapier and Lann’s quiver of cold iron arrows don’t seem to work on the shadow demon.
Nor does Slumber.
