Open Beta Time & Dates for Diablo 2 Resurrected

The Diablo 2 Resurrected open beta start date is August 20th, and the launch time is 10AM PDT/1PM EDT/7PM CEST/3AM AEST on August 21st. You can figure out your own local start time from there, I’m sure. Unlike the previous beta, this one will be available for everyone, regardless of whether you’ve pre-ordered the game or not.

If you want to get in on the action as soon as possible, you can pre-load the beta early on. On PC, the pre-loads will go up on Battle.net on August 18th. On Xbox and PlayStation, they will start on August 17th, as soon as the Early Access beta runs out at 10AM PDT. An Xbox Live Gold subscription will not be necessary to play the Open Beta online, but you will need it to access multiplayer features. Same goes for PS Plus.

How Long is the Diablo 2 Resurrected Beta

The Diablo 2 Resurrected beta will be three days long, according to the official FAQ. So, the Diablo 2 Resurrected beta dates are from August 20th to August 23rd. It will wrap up at the same times – 10AM PDT/1PM EDT/7PM CEST/3AM AEST on August 22nd. Best of all, if you have played the early access closed beta, all your progress will carry over into the open beta.

As for those of you that haven’t played the closed beta, well, I think three days will probably be enough to get a pretty good taste of whether you want to get into Diablo 2 Resurrected or not. Also, don’t be jealous of those that have had access to the previous beta – all progress will be wiped before the game launches, so everyone will start on an even footing.

You contradict yourself. Is progress wiped or does it carry over? Maybe read what you write before you post.

Maybe read more carefully next time. Progress carries over from the closed beta to the open beta, but neither carries over into the full game.

He did clarify. The closed beta carries over to the open beta, but the beta doesn’t carry over to the full game.
